We are thrilled to announce great news from Katowice market – we are starting to build the new IT Hub in Katowice from scratch. Our Client is a global producer of sustainable stainless steel, whose main target is to reduce carbon footprint 10,000,000 tons annually.

We’re looking for an Application Support Specialist (.NET, MS SQL) ready to join an international IT team supporting mostly web applications around production processes – those are manufacturing systems like MES, MOM or LIMS.

This role includes Employment Contract and hybrid model with 2 office days/week.

In this role you will:

• Provide technical support for applications supporting production processes in various European locations according to agreed SLA’s,
• Resolve application issues and ensure apps are running properly and according to safety rules,
• Do basic corrections in the applications’ code (C#, .NET) and databases (MS SQL) if needed,
• Customize and configure applications to meet manufacturing needs, while working with international teams,
• Manage applications’ upgrades, including testing, deployment and validation to maintain optimal performance,
• Resolve tickets using ServiceNow,
• Occasionally provide oncall support for critical applications.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in IS/IT or equivalent industry experience,
• 3+ years’ experience in IT Application Support with focus on managing and supporting software applications,
• Experience with software for manufacturing companies is preferred,
• At least basic experience with C#, .NET and MS SQL,
• Good problem-solving and communication skills,
• Communicative English – min. B2.
