For our client, a company in the medical device industry, we are looking for Corporate Accounting - GL

(2 years fixed term contract)

Main duties will include:

• Prepare all necessary bookings, accounting operations, reconciliations, and investigations, whether financial or project-related.
• Recognize project revenue following Group accounting policies and international accounting standards (verifying conditions, posting vouchers).
• Assist in preparing/prepare VAT, Intrastat, and other tax-related reports/entries/reconciliations as needed.
• Perform timely monthly closing of designated divisions according to procedures and the closing calendar.
• Prepare reliable and timely management information reports monthly according to procedures and the closing calendar.
• Keep the supervisor informed about process performance and issues, investigate processing errors in the respective area of responsibility, and carry out the resolution process.
• Proactively suggest recommendations and ideas for continuous process improvement.
• Standardize processes across different legal entities.
• Support external/internal audits for group accounting policy compliance.

Requirements:

• 2 years+ of relevant GL accounting experience.
• Experience in working in an international environment, with an integrated finance software package or ERP system.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Good analytical skills.
• Ability to build good relationship with different stakeholders.
• Good organization of work.
