Our client, an international consulting firm, is looking for an Accounting Expert with Russian and Polish to join its ranks.

You will join an international team that supports suppliers and business teams from different regions.

Your tasks will include:

  • Managing and supervising activities such as vendor set-up in the ERP and vendor maintenance, processing of vendor invoices as per agreed SLA’s, payment processing to vendors as well as employees.
  • Managing the queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing the training to the internal and external stakeholders when needed.
  • Allocating the tasks to the internal teams and ensuring to monitor the activities.
  • Identifying queries and resolving after communication with the customer.
  • Overviewing outstanding payments, credit management.
  • Preparing various month end reports such as ageing analysis, expense reports, query resolution status report and reports for management review.
  • Assisting in monthly/quarterly/yearly book closure for accounts payables perspective.
  • Building relationship with business stakeholders.
  • SME for tax related requirement & reconciliations.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities which will help make better AP process by initiating Lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Supporting the global audit team with data gathering, analysis and report creation for audit purposes.

You should have:

  • At least 6 years of experience in the area of finance and accounting.
  • Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Fluent English, Polish and Russian languages.
  • Advanced knowledge in SAP or Oracle as well as Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable AP systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
  • In-depth AP & AR processing knowledge, understanding of processes and policies in intercompany accounting.
  • Ability to create and update SOPs as and when required.
  • Highly developed communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with employees and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proactive - ability to work with the team and direct various team members & help taking decisions.
  • Ability to build connection with business, understanding of unique requirements and helping them solve challenging situations.
