For our Client, SSC Company on Szczecin market, we are looking for a candidate to position of Intercompany Financial Controller.

Position: Intercompany Financial Controller

Location: Szczecin


ROLE:

  • Guiding financial decisions by developing and monitoring policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements for IC part;
  • Intercompany profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliation;
  • Monitoring / preparing intercompany fees calculations;
  • Analyzing intercompany accounts and comment variations;
  • Overseeing reporting of local intercompany figures according to group guidelines;
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended procedures connected with IC;
  • Staying current on the company, local, and international financial regulations and policies;
  • Overseeing the financial monthly and year-end closing IC process;
  • Review local intercompany figures to be sent to tax advisors authorities;
  • Support external/internal audits;
  • Leading transition of new processes into the shared service center;
  • Leading one-off financial projects for companies in scope of IC Team;
  • Ensuring that requests are handled with professionalism and positive service attitude while ensuring that delivery is according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLA);
  • Establishing and maintaining close and professional partnerships with internal stakeholders;



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance accounting and reporting in international environment
  • Excellent English skills required, written and verbal.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, practices, financial reporting and legislation
  • Self-confidence, decision-making attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with finance software, as IFS, SAP, or similar
  • Computer literacy – Excel vary good knowledge is a must
  • High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency
