Software Engineer

 

For one of our clients -  a US-based cyber security software development company, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer. The person in this position will join the team of engineers in the R&D department.


The company is expanding its global presence and operations to the Polish market with the opening of its first European Centre in Krakow.


This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days a week in our Kraków office.


In this role you will:


  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python and/or GoLang
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and application security
  • Participate in code reviews and support best practices
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and feature development
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver robust fixes
  • Engage in DevOps processes including CI/CD and containerization

 

Requirements:


  • 3–4 years of professional experience in software development
  • Proficiency with Python and/or GoLang and C# is nice to have,
  • Solid knowledge of API design and microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud-based architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP.).
  • Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, GraphQL, etc.) is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Contributions to open source projects or active GitHub presence.
