We are thrilled to announce great news from Katowice market – we are building the new IT Hub in Katowice from scratch. Our Client is a global producer of sustainable stainless steel, whose main target is to reduce carbon footprint 10,000,000 tons annually.

 

We’re looking for Mid Software Developers knowing one of technologies like: C++ or COBOL or PHP. Our Client is building the team of 3 developers in Poland that will be supporting the maintenance and development of applications supporting production operations in their factories.

 

This role includes Employment Contract and hybrid model with 2 office days/week.

 

In this role you will:

  • Develop and test code for manufacturing support applications according to best coding practices,
  • Depending on the product and your experience you may work with technologies such as: C/C++, COBOL, PHP, SQL, HPE NonStop, Linux scripting,
  • Work together with Application Specialists and provide 3rd line support in case of major issues (occasional on-call support may be included),
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate applications with other systems, ensuring data flow and process integration,
  • Maintain the project documentation,
  • Ensure the product security,
  • Identify improvement areas for the product in alignment with manufacturing goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience as a Software Developer,
  • Experience with technologies including, but not limited to: C/C++, COBOL, PHP, SQL, HPE NonStop, Linux scripting,
  • Communicative English – min. B2.
