For our client, an international company, we are seeking a Payroll Specialist experienced in German payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain payroll records, including all types of deductions.
• Check payroll accuracy by reviewing reports, pay slips and time data.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports.
• Ensure compliance by verifying correct third‑party payments and required reporting.
• Use Finance and HR systems to keep payroll and pension data consistent and properly reported.
• Handle pension and benefits reporting, including employer contributions.
• Support employees with salary, insurance and pension questions.
• Keep payroll procedures documented and up to date.
• Work with the payroll vendor to improve daily operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in German payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll terminology and German payroll & pension regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is an advantage.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
